ModestMeans Posted September 2, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2004 Can anyone tell me whether there is a curtain or screen of any sort that can be drawn to isolate the sleeping area from the sitting area in mini-suites on the Diamond?
srphnx Posted September 2, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2004 I can tell you there is not. The mini isn't really a suite in any proper sense, it is just a deeper balcony cabin with an upgraded bathroom (except AE).
dalwhitt Posted September 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2004 So is it worth it? I was thinking about getting one for my Sapphire cruise next year for my wife and 7-year old grandson. I like the idea of two TVs also, not that we'll be watching much.
Lynda90 Posted September 3, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 3, 2004 Personally, I think it's worth it. More space, sitting area, large bathroom with tub, walk-in closet, larger balcony. They are wonderful cabins with a lot of space. I wouldn't go back.
srphnx Posted September 3, 2004 #5 Share Posted September 3, 2004 Worth it? Depends on the cost increase and your budget. I agree with Lynda, they are better, no question is it worth a couple of hundred more sure.. a thousand more... not to me.
Lynda90 Posted September 3, 2004 #6 Share Posted September 3, 2004 I also agree with Steve. Even close to $1000 more--no way, but yes to a couple of hundred. Dalwhitt, with good shopping skills there are deals to be found so it does not have to cost much more than a balcony. Sometimes they are even less depending on the location.
