Jodygirl Posted October 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2007 I know this has been talked about on here before regarding blow up tubs, but wanted to check on it again. We will be in a D1 cabin on FOS in December and was wondering about how to bath DD. I saw one of those blow-up tubs in the One Step Ahead catalog but it said up to 24 months so I wasn't sure if DD will fit. She will be 23 months when we cruise but she is big for her age (90% percentile in weight and height). Any suggestions on a bigger tub or another alternative? Or does anyone who has used this have an opinion on how much room there is in it? Thanks a bunch!!
NoelsCat Posted October 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 31, 2007 Has your daughter ever taken a shower with you? My son is also in the 90% and will be just 2 at the time of our cruise. We have been practicing in the shower at least once per week and it has been going much better than I thought it would. We use one of those little visor hats (also from one step ahead) so that water and soap don't run onto his face -- and it has gone pretty good so far. :)
crusinmama06 Posted October 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 31, 2007 I agree about the shower. I would start practicing at home. And if I remember correctly, the shower head is removable on FOS. So if you had to, can you just sit her in the bottom of the shower and use the shower head?
oldhamlass Posted October 31, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 31, 2007 Sorry to hijack but does anyone remember if the Triumph has fixed or handheld showerheads, my 3 year old is fine with a handheld on as the water doesn't go in her eyes. Thanks! Sarah
sandy toes Posted October 31, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2007 All CCL, RCCL, PCL, and NCL ships have the removable hand held shower heads.
Paleochick Posted November 1, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 1, 2007 This tub really is big. My ds (almost 4) took his baths in it on our cruise. His legs were bent and that was fine. My 16 month old dd had room to spare and she's off the charts tall for her age. Snug Tub Deluxe
