Rough boat ride to Bannister Island?

We are considering the Private Island Beach Break to Bannister Island through Carnival for our upcoming Valor cruise. However, I was wondering about the tender ride to the island. My 8-year old got sick on our last cruise on a tender from St. Thomas to St. John Trunk Bay and we do not want a repeat performance.

Is it a fast and/or bumpy boat ride to Bannister? How long does it take to get there?

Thanks in advance!

I too heard it was a rough ride. We got sea-sick on a fast boat ride from Playla da Carmen to Cozumel. Many people got sick. I had continued taking my "Bonine" on this excursion, so I didn't actually get sick.....but I would have if I hadn't taken my "Bonine."

I'm planning on taking this excursion in March through Carnival and plan to take my "Bonine."

....but I'd be curious to hear how rough it really is.
