Priceline Hotel Bids

Has anyone had any luck bidding for hotel rooms in Anchorage using Priceline??? I am trying for Sept. and am having no luck. If you got a room, how much did you bid? [B]HELP![/B]

Yes, rooms can be had, tougher on days immediately before/after cruise ship sailings for obvious reasons. We paid $60 for the Sheraton last August (5 nights).

Just looked - someone got the Sheraton for $50 for 9/7/04. Note you only want to bid at the 3-star level for the sake of location.

Gardyloo, I have used Priceline several times, just thought someone else might have gotten something cheaper. I'm up to $70.00, don't know how they got a room for $50! [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif[/img]
