Hi,we are leaving on sat for our cruise!!!So excited!!!!So i have been a nerd and have pretty much gotten alot of books on the Bahamas and cruising! We arent booking activities threw the boat,we plan on wingin it.While in Freeport from 8-5 we plan on going to port Lucaya to sea horse rd or drive(whatever it is).So I assume that we tell the cab driver to just go to Port Lucaya? Also, does anyone know the cost from the boat and the amount of time it takes to get there?

Thanks

Yes, just tell the taxi driver you want to go to Port Lucaya Marketplace. The cost is $5/per person each way in a shared taxi-van. They'll wait until the van is full (10-12 people) which won't take long because that's where most independent travelers will be going. Travel time is 20-30 minutes which thus gets you a nice tour of part of the island during the journey.
