JBuffettPH Posted November 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2007 Were tying to decide between a balcony cabin or a minisuite for an upcoming sailing on the Gem. It looks like to me that the minisuites don't appear to get butler service so what is the difference in size and ammenities in going from a balcony cabin to a mini suite? Thanks
electricron Posted November 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2007 A bathtub in the mini-suites restroom. A full size sofa large enough to sleep two additional passengers, vs a smaller one that sleeps one. And a slightly larger room, about an additional 40 sq. ft. CRUZIN TOM Posted November 9, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 9, 2007 There are no butler or concierge services for either the minisuites or balcony's. Ther used to be concierge service for the minsuites, but there are too many on the newer ships and NCL doesn't have the staff for them. The size differene is that a minsuite will get you a bathtub instead of a shower, and about 5 additional feet in length in you room. A curtain seperating the couch from the bed. So someone sitting on the couch can watch TV without bothering someone trying to sleep. Oh and they will provde you with bathrobes if you ask for them.:)
