Dawn Berry Posted November 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2007 What is NCL's Single Supplement rate? Thanks!
Calif.Girl Posted November 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2007 When I went alone I paid double. Hopefully, in the future they will give the singles a break.:o
mbarnaby99 Posted November 14, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Most of the time it is double but once in a while they do offer better rates. The Gem transatlantic was a great deal. In the past, they usually give a better single rate on repo cruises.
garycarla Posted November 14, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Seems that paying for a double is pretty much the norm. But, when you book, select only ONE person. You will save a little on the taxes and port charges.

The problem with offering that is it can be abused. 2 passengers can book two cabins for the same price as both sharing one. Some people did that for this cruise. A great deal but not the intent of the promotion. So going forward I don't think we will see that promotion very often. I think a 150% like Carnival would be in line. NCL up until a couple years ago only charged 1 NCF for a solo cruiser and that was a little more fair.

They do charge double NCF which is more then just the port charges but not taxes which is the least of the total cost
