relo854 Posted November 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Just booked our first cruise. How do we check on price drops to see if we can get money off what we paid? We booked on RCCL 6/08 - Alaska. Thanks
wrp96 Posted November 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Go to RCCL's website and act like you are booking the exact same cruise (same info and everything). Watch to see if the price of your category drops. Also, make sure to check the categories above yours. Sometimes they'll drop higher categories that aren't selling well and you can get the upgrade. Sue L Posted November 14, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Go to the RCCL website and "pretend" book a cruise, do NOT sign it to your my cruises when you are doing this. Make sure though you put in your state, if you are 55+ and military if applicable and then go to the the next page where it shows the room categories and see how the price compares to what you paid. Very simple!!
MiniMom57 Posted November 14, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 14, 2007 And be sure to check the prices on Thanksgiving Day.....last year they had a fabulous one-day sale, and even though we had booked 8 months prior, we got over $200 off per ticket.:D
