7 mile beach

We are going on the semi sub but will be done with that by 10 am-We were thinking of going to 7 mile beach and had some questions.

What area is there that has some natural shade on the beach?that also has some places that we can get a snack or a meal in the same area?

 

And are there chair rentals in that area??

 

Also what is cab fare from the tender dock to the beach

I heard that the beach across from Courtyard Marriott has natural shade and you can rent chairs....(but not umbrellas...also has food). Cab ride is about $5pp each way.

Ive noticed several restaurants in this area--are there chair and umbrella rentals in that area.Also are there lockers??

There are a few.... very few.... spots on Seven Mile beach with any natural shade at all. The beach at the Courtyard by Marriott has precious little shade, though you can rent a shade for your beach chair from the Red Sail shop at the location.

 

For natural shade Smith Cove is much better, but there is no chair rental or nearby food options.

Get ready to shell out some $$$$ for food and drinks. Beer was $7 each for a 12 oz bottle. I know it's "imported", but I've never seen it that expensive anywhere I've been to. Everything was expensive.
