Car rental in San Juan (Pam Am)

I believe most San Juan based X ships dock at Pan Am pier. I plan to rent a car due to pre and post stay in San Juan and I couldn't find any car rental service near Pan Am dock. Is this true? I currently booked a car from Old San Juan, and plan to take taxi over to Pan Am (I heard it may take 15 minutes to go around the little bay). Any better idea, please advise...

After you drop off the car, they will drive you to the ship terminal. I believe that they also will meet (or beat) any cost quoted by other rental agencies. My sister-in-law used them last February and I have scheduled a rental for February 2008.

Hi, Anyone out there use Charlie Cars or Ace Car Rental while in San Juan Puerto Rico recently. Unfortunately not much posted for reviews and they seem to be the only game in town that shuttles you where you need to be after dropping off the vehicle. Any/all feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sandy
