I read some where that there are vending machines on the ship? Is that so? What do they sell in the vending machines that you can't get at the buffets?? Is it just for drinks?

Someone posted a link to the things that were on the empress deck and it says that across from rooms 7411 & 7334 are vending machines and the laundry room is across from 7337 & 7339

The only vending machines on the Glory that I saw were those that dispense laundry detergent, softner, etc. There were no machines for snacks, soda, etc. I was in 7363, and was in the laundry room twice. I usually walked past there on my way to the lobby, theater, spa.

Any cabin - regardless of location or category - is subject to periodic "malfunctions". The worst A/C issues which we have experienced were in a suite. I can't recall ever being warm in an interior. It's all very random.

 

Go ahead and ENJOY your cruise - no matter what happens, just roll with it as best you can! :)

I just read a Glory review that said the inisde cabins were uncomfortable hot, bad A/C. Anyone recently back off of the Glory can comment on this. We have a couple of insides and I'm thinking whether to take a fan or not. thnx

 

 

You know I like your attitude. Instead of fussing or complaining you just come up with a solution. :)

On Valor last year there was a bar that had a different $5 maritni every night. Anything like that on Glory?

 

Check the Capers - I believe every day there was a martini special at a specific bar (usually the 'wine bar') during certani hours - don't remember how much it was tho - but I know they were yummy!

On quite a few nights the casino had a little table bar set up selling special drinks. I only bought the mojitos but think they did have martinis on another night :)

I have the capers posted in my review, Froufie mentioned the specials were listed in there, how sad but I don't remember

Yup - counting the days!

 

And now I am remembering the casino bar as well - and the one day they had that fancy ice sculpture thing - and they poured your martini thru the ice into the glass - so cool (pun intended) - had a very lovely pink cosmopolitan - YUM

Does anyone know if Glory has been in drydock since she was launched in 03? I see that it isnt scheduled now until 2010 and this would concern me a bit for our vacation in aug. 09.

 

 

Yes it has but I forget the dates of the last refurb.
