Does the Golf Driving range on the Dawn cost anything?

I am not sure which facilities have a surcharge and which one don't.

The golf net is free. But, you have to go all the way down to the reception desk to check out clubs and balls. Truly a PITA.

The one's I've seen aren't really driving ranges. More like a driving cage. DH wasn't really impressed with the setup and thought it was too windy.

I wouldn't bring my own clubs unless I was playing on any of the islands.

Really? That's too bad. On the Gem they had a bucket of balls and assorted clubs right in the nets.

 

Not quite as much fun as hitting balls off the stern, but that (and skeet shooting) are things of the past. :(

The Jewel also had clubs and balls just sitting there to use whenever you wanted. There was a little sign, on the Dawn's golf net, that stated you had to check out equipment from the reception desk. Obvously I didn't hit any golf balls this cruise.:rolleyes:
