Change In Price

We booked our cruise earlier this year, but now I've noticed that the price has come down. My TA is away till Tuesday and I was wondering if we should get the cheaper price. I know last year when my girlfriend and I went on a Carnival cruise I checked everyday to see if their was a drop in price and then phoned and asked for the cheaper price and they gave it to us no problem. There were 4 price drops and we paid $250 cheaper than when originally booked.

As long as the price is the same on Tuesday when your TA gets back, yes you will get the decrease. If the price goes up before the TA can contact RCI, you probably won't get the decrease.

Is there anyone else in the TA's office that can help you, like a boss or a co-worker? They would be able to call since they are from the same office. Unfortunately this is one of the downsides of using a TA.

Can't you put a same category "on hold" & then have the TA make the changes when he/she gets back? Only problem I've had was recently they actually released my hold sl. more than 24 hrs where as b4 they were held for several days!

If you know what cabin you want, perhaps you can call Royal Caribbean and reserve it at the lower price, then have your TA to all the paperwork, etc. when he/she gets back.
