robinp Posted November 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2007 Ok - our pre-cruise hotel is out at the airport and it looks like we will only have time to shop the day we set sail. Is there anywhere either at the cruise terminal (RCCL) or near Bayside//Downtown where we can dump our bags in the morning and collect them early afternoon. We can't and don't want to leave them at the airport hotel and have to get a cab back and forth. Thanks.

We have checked bags into the ship as early as 9am without problem. MAYBE C&A would be able to answer this, but I can never tell when they know something versus when they just make it up:eek:
Pat&Liz Posted November 24, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 24, 2007 We thought to do this, and phoned up RCCL on the morning to find out if we could drop our bags off, but they don't allow it due to security reasons... However, we stayed at the Wyndham, and as soon as we checked out, we stacked our bags with everyone elses going on the Freedom, and they got loaded into a van and taken straight to the ship from there. If your hotel does this, there's no reason to think that you couldn't leave your bags at the hotel, and get them taken to the ship with the 'transfers' from the hotel, and then just see them later. I'd talk to the hotel about it!!
