Best cruise with 22mo twins?

I don't mean to be rude, but why are you bringing your babies on vacation with you? A cruise is no place for a baby. If you want to go with Disney (as others suggested) that's fine. Although I feel the need to point out that it's kind of a waste of money b/c they aren't going to remeber it and you'll spend your whole trip taking care of them instead of enjoying yourself.

If you do decided to bring them with you please don't subject the other passengers to them when they are crying and or fussy. I hope you decided to take a relaxing week alone with DH. :D After having twins..you probebly need it!;)

Last year, in the stateroom next to us was a young couple form europe with a baby boy about 8 months old, we NEVER heard him cry one time but yet the poor wife ws in her staterrom almost all the time. How do I know? Because everytime I walked on my balcony she would be there, but if the baby so much as grunted she took him inside the room. I also saw room service dishes stacked up outside their room.

I felt so sorry for her and wanted to say, "don't worry if he cries a bit-no one will mind unless he is really fussy-if that happens then you can take him back to the room" - I would run into the husband around ship alot, so he did not stay there-just her.

I did appreiciate her concern for others-I just felt she went a little overboard. (no pun intended!)

Is Camp Carnival Available for Children Under 2?spacer.gifCamp Carnival is unable to accept children Under 2 years during activity times but we do offer babysitting services for you within Camp Carnival. We do not offer in cabin babysitting. Babysitting services for Under 2's are available each evening from 10pm-3am as well as our Family Play Times on Sea Days and during freeplay times on port days. All babysitting services for Under 2's are charged at babysitting price ($6.00 an hour). During Family Play Times on Sea Days parents with Under 2's are welcome to stay with their under 2's at no charge. Check the on board Camp Carnival capers for specific times.

The problem is there are two of them-if the parents try to enjoy themselves just a litle bit-they will hav eto pay a substantial amount.

Just think, $6 an hour is $12 an hour for them-so if they spend 3 hours in a lounge or eating in the specality restuarant that is $36. If they do that every day you are looking at $250 just to enjoy themselves a bit.

I agree with the person who said wait a few months until they turn 2. Usually also, when you book a cruise, you do it at least 2 months ahead anyway.

A cruise is the best vacation for a Mom with young children. NCL has a program for kids 2-5 so you can have some rest and relaxation while the kids are having fun with other kids.

My DD is having twins in June. Can't wait to take them on a cruise, so I have a feeling we could be cruising when they are less than a year old.

We saw lots of babies on our 5 night NCL cruise a couple weeks ago. We even met a grandmother in the Atrium with her 6 month old granddaughter one night. DH met the woman again in the casino another night. Looks like everybody took turns with the baby. Great to have grandparents with you on a cruise.
