kkruzcrazy Posted November 27, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2007 We arrive at the airport at 12:25 in Honolulu, do you think it would be possible to check onto ship (pride of aloha) then go to the swap meet? Is it close to the pier? Is the swap meet only open in the morning??
Ka Honu Posted November 27, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2007 Aloha Stadium Swap Meet (which is what I presume you're talking about) is open from 6AM - 3 PM on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and some holidays. It's in the opposite direction of and much closer to the airport (about 1.5 miles north) than it is to the pier so I'd recommend going before you go to the ship. Your luggage may be a problem but I suppose you could leave it unclaimed or ask the baggage claim folks to hold it in their office until you got back from the swap meet. Depending on what day you return from the cruise and how long you have before you fly out, you might want to debark, check in at the airport, and then go to the Swap Meet (just don't buy anything you can't carry on the plane). judyf Posted November 28, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2007 Great Swap meet. We were able to do it the Sun. prior to boarding the POH. It's hug we planned 1 1/2 hours there and only saw a small amount. Prices were the best here. Have fun!
