Colon Panama Airport

We are thinking about booking a Panama / South America cruise next month. There is one that starts in Colon, Panama but the airport code for that city doesn't appear in Expedia? Do you have to fly into Panama City all the way on the Pacific coast and then travel to the Atlantic coast? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Unless they've built one near Colon since I was stationed right outside there back in the early 80s, you'll fly into PC and drive across. Colon wouldn't be able to support an airport (at least back then).

Yes, Panama City is the airport you fly into for cruises out of Colon. This might be one of those times where cruiseline transfers would be worth it.
