Belfast Castle Posted November 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2007 We have recently returned from our first cruise - a 12 night Southern Caribbean on Explorer. And what a wonderful time we had -from start to finish, I cant thank enough those folk who offered advise on my many questions - it is certainly worthwhile being prepared and having done a little research. The ship is beautiful - so clean and new looking - very friendly staff - lots to do and plently of nice people to meet. Just a bit disappointed at a few ports - only there a very short time - and the weather - well I did expect loads of lovely sunshine in the Caribbean but this wasnt really the case. However it didnt spoil things - may be we just went a little too early - 11 November?? Now making plans for our second cruise - any suggestions anyone?? Sue L Posted November 29, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2007 I have to agree with the first two posters, but if warm weather is more your thing than Panama Canal on the Brilliance and they have 10 and 11 day versions
