We2Cruzers Posted November 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2007 I had seen some postings a week or so ago from folks who were saying that Costa Rica had been eliminated from their itineraries. In one post someone mentioned that their agent was able to give them discounted fees because of this change. I was holding out hope that maybe there was a mistake, but I checked with Cunard and it is true. Costa Rica is out and Barbardos is in. I checked with both Cunard and my agent & they told me they weren't discounting prices for the cruise due to this change. I am disappointed both about missing Costa Rica and also that there is no lowering of the price for the cruise. I love the QM, but this doesn't seem fair to me. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten a lowering of the fare from Cunard or their agency when a port has been cut from the itinerary in advance of the trip. Many of you have cruised so much more than I have - I value your comments and appreciate your feedback. Thanks, LK
