Take lots of money. Few things are close to being a bargain in Grand Cayman.

I echo what Bruce is saying. You will not bargains in Grand Cayman. At least we've not found any on our trips there. Grand Cayman reminds me of the Beverly Hills of the Caribbean. However, you do get what you pay for. We love GC. It's safe, clean, and a wonderful place to vacation...and it is expensive. :)

The only good tips for shopping is the duty free liquor store. I got great deals on my liquor purchases better then the ship.

I will be on Navigator In Jan . We stop at GC and Ocho Rios. This is third stop in GC and I expect I will stay on the ship. Dislike tendering and have done stingrays, snorkel and 7 mile beach. Everything is way expensive . Tender lines are very long to board at the end of the day. There are better places to go than here, but this is an all exp paid trip by my employer so I am there. Will be cruise # 20, so chillin by the pool may be in order. Company paying the bar bill so hey!!
