Cozumel docking v. tendering

How many ships can dock at Cozumel? If there are too many and someone needs to tender, is there a way to predict which one?

 

The Grandeur is scheduled to be in Cozumel on Dec. 17. On that day there are also a Costa ship and 3 from Carnival.

I saw at least 3 ships docked pier-side on my last trip to Cozumel this past January. I think it depends on the size of the ship and whether or not the water is deep enough for the ship to come close enough into the port. I might be wrong. If I am someone please correct me.

RC docks at the international pier. There is room for two RC ships. If RC isn't using both spaces than maybe one of the others may be there also. There is at least two spaces downtown at that pier.

We should have no problem being docked then.
