I don't know if I would have had the strength do so what you did but you did the right thing especially because it is what your husband wanted. You definetly treasure your time with those girls. I scanned your story thru the link posted. DH and I had a similar conversation not too long ago. We were talking about having #2 but he was having some health issues that had yet to be diagnosed. He asked if I really wanted to raise TWO kids as a single parent if, in fact, the health issue was something major. I said "yes, yes, yes". The health issue that he had turned out to be nothing, thankfully. But, if it had been different, I would have had the conversation with him, and I would have done exactly what you did.
