travellgirl Posted December 9, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted December 9, 2007 Sorry, I was looking for information on the open seating in Discoveries. Thanks.
Toots Posted December 11, 2007 #4 Share Posted December 11, 2007 You might want to read the previous posts "Open Seating not working" and "Host Karen Live from Quest......" that include a lot of dining comments. Unless things change on the Quest, be prepared for lengthy dining. If you want to make sure you get to a particular show, you might want to eat in the Breezas buffet that night. The food was very good and the staff very friendly and not as rushed as in Discoveries. We enjoyed the fresh stir-fry and pasta bar because the food was hot. Some of the other main dishes in Breezas were lukewarm. Still, ANY meal on board is better than cooking at home!

Just as an addition, on many nights, there were 2 shows in the lounge, so no matter what time you eat in Discoveries, you should be able to make the show if you plan it right. travellgirl Posted December 11, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted December 11, 2007 Thanks. We don't mind dinner being long, I just wanted to know the time frame in which you could go to dinner. Nice to know about the two lounge shows.
