Snorkeling in Lanai - Rainbow Chaser?

Hello, I was checking out the Rainbow Chaser 2 for snorkeling from Maui. Looks like they offer a trip to Lanai out of Lahaina Harbor. We are cruising to Maui and will dock in Kahului. Need your help with the following:

 

#1 - how far is Lahaina Harbor from Kahului dock?

#2 - how is the snorkeling in Lanai?

#3 - how does it compare to snorkeling at Molokini?

#4 - anyone had any experience with this company?

#1 - about 45 minutes - varies depending on traffic.

#2 - no personal experience though I've heard it's supposed to be pretty good

#3 - different environment

#4 - hope somebody else can help with this one.

We had Rainbow Chaser reserved for our trip in November, but recently decided to cancel. Steve, the owner, is very nice and will get back to you quickly on details. We mainly decided to cancel because it is really expensive ($200/pp) and I decided I could do so much more with the $$!
