snoopy124 Posted December 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2007 This is my first cruise. I am trying to do the pre-reserve excusion stuff through the princess website. There are sooooooooo many tours to choose from. What specific tours do you recommend for Ocho Rios? What specific tours do you recommend for Cozumel? What do you recommend for Grand Cayman? I want to do it though Princess because it is our first time.

OR - we are doing dunns river falls with a pvt company $35pp GC - we are doing the Rays again love them with a pvt company $35pp Coz- we are going to Paradise Beach..great food, drinks and staff. 02EBZ Posted December 9, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 9, 2007 If you like the water I agree with above to do Stingray City in GC. Dunns River Falls is also a must do in Jamaica. If you like to snorkel, there great snorkeling in Cozumel. Enjoy

paintchip8 Posted December 9, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 9, 2007 I agree with Irish... We did the dolphin swim and Dunn's falls in Ocho Rios, very nice. Swim with the Rays in G.C., totally cool! In Cozumel we did Paradise Beach. You could not ask for a better beach or people that work there. Check out the Ports of Call boards for more info. Good drinks, food for lunch was good and we all thought it was one of the highlights of our cruise.
willysgrandma Posted December 9, 2007 #6 Share Posted December 9, 2007 Dunn's River Falls or River Tubing in Jamaica. Cozumel has a fabulous dolphin swim. Paradise Beach is also great - you can take a cab there. Grand Cayman is famous for their stingray snorkel and swims, so I'd advise trying that. vickie_bernie Posted December 9, 2007 #7 Share Posted December 9, 2007 Stinray city in Grand Caymen is so great. We did it, but independently thru Captain Marvin, here is the website captainmarvins . com they are located right near the pier
vickie_bernie Posted December 9, 2007 #8 Share Posted December 9, 2007 also I forgot to mention... tours are very personal thing it really depends what you like to do. Some like to be driven by bus to all the sights, some like to shop, some like beach excursions, some like physical activity... so it is hard to recommend. Have you received your cruise documents yet? because when you do they will send you a book on the tours and a detailed discription of each and some pictures. It helps when figuring out what to do. CruisinKiki Posted December 9, 2007 #9 Share Posted December 9, 2007 You have gotten good recommendations. I can second the one for Captain Marvin in GC. When we went, Princess cancelled its excursion because the water was rough. Thankfully we were booked with Marvin's and it still went out. They are very professional and right near where the ship docks. It's nice to get away from the huge crowds on the ship excursions. I would always do independents if given the choice.
