Bogus 12 Days of Christmas discounts

Has anyone noticed that the "12 days of Christmas" discount offers barely cover the price of the fuel surcharge. What's going on this year? 2006 was sooo much better!:cool:

I have never found the 12 days of Christmas sale to be of any value. So it doesn't surprise that this year is any different.

I have found that many times they raise the price listed, THEN give you the discount for NO savings..... There are good deals out there, they are just usually a little quieter. If a sale is hyped up, it usually is not that good.

The best offer for 2006 was $200 off/stateroom for any cruise in 2007 based on the price on that day (day 12). This year that same last day discount will be $100/room. This discount is actual, based on the cruise you choose and the current rate advertised. The $200 covered quite a few cocktails. I guess I'll drink half as many on them this year.:cool:
