I looking to rent a car while in fll pre cruise. I woundering which car rental shuttle to port. What is the name of street of car rental nearest to port everglade.

Most car rental firms are licensed to do business at Port Everglades and, when ships are in port, may provide courtesy shuttle service to/from the cruise terminals to their nearby off-site locations.





Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport recently opened a Rental Car Center which houses a number of car rental companies servicing both the airport and the seaport. A single shuttle pickup at Port Everglades is offered for the following rental car companies at the Center: Alamo, Avis,

Budget, Continental, Dollar, Enterprise, EZ Rent-A-Car, Hertz, National, Payless, Royal and Thrifty.



Outside of the airport locations, Thrifty has a location on the port perimeter on Miami Road and Budget has a location on SE 17th Street in the Quay Shopping Plaza.

Wow that was fast. If I rent a car at the airport pre cruise where do I return it and be shuttle to ship. Do I rent a car at the center at airport and return it at the airport.Also do the airport center shuttle to the port?

In January we have reserved a car for two days prior to our cruise and we are renting from Budget, at airport and returning to the Quay location the morning of our cruise. Is this the best drop off or the airport? Also, after the cruise we have a late flight and are renting a car for the day from Quay location again, will we have any trouble with a shuttle to this location after the cruise?

Both locations are minutes from the port. On your return call them (if you go with the Quay location) and ask how long before the shuttle gets to your terminal. Keep in mind, your not the only one they're picking up and that they may be making other stops before and after they pick you up. Sometimes a cab is the way to go, worth the minimal expense. ;)
