farm girl Posted December 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2007 Does anyone know where Oceania usually anchors or docks in Tortola and Virgin Gorda? I would like to know so that I can go ahead and make plans. Thank You
bakerintn Posted January 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2008 This is only my best guess.... There is only one dock in Road Town and it holds only two cruise ships (one on each side). My guess is that "first two ships in" get the dock and others must anchor out. You can check cruisecal.com to see how many ships are scheduled on that day, but I don't know how you can tell which ones will have to anchor out. dlb237 Posted January 22, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2008 Oceania's Regatta's Eastern Caribbean itineraries often include both Tortola and Virgin Gorda. Virgin Gorda is a tender port; the ship's tenders arrive at the Yacht Club in Spanish Town (what looks like a harbor on the map). At Tortola, the Regatta docks at the Cruise Ship dock at Wickhams Cay 1 in Road Town (south side of harbor).
