port to airport san juan

i have a 10 am flight from san juan can i make it

The trip to the airport isn't very long, however check in at San Juan Airport is horrendously bad.

 

I wouldn't recommend it.

Honestly I'd try to book a bit later. From what I've read, passengers usually begin disembarking around 8am and it is usually a cattle call. Traffic at SJU on Sundays is hectic too. You'd be cutting it very close.

I personally wouldn't book a flight before 1pm. There are any number of delays that could get you off the ship late including medical, weather, customs, immigration, etc. If you decide to keep your flight, please get the insurance so you won't be forced to buy new tickets out of pocket though.

 

I'd also allow a minimum of 1-1/2 hours to get through all the security checkpoints in the San Juan airport- and that's on a good day! :)

This past August I had a 11:30 flight. Opted to do Self-assist, was off the ship by 8 and at the airport at 8:30..Made it through security and was at my gate by 9:15. I personally wouldnt book a 10am flight.

just finished 2nd cruise on destiny bith times wouldnt recomend that early flight airport very slow have fun
