We are going to be in Nassau over spring break and want to know where the best beach is for party fun, umbrellas coronas and lots of sun.

Your best bet is to have a look here in the CruiseCritic "Ports of Call" Bahamas forum: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58

Good luck and Happy Times. :)

If you are looking for the young high school college crowd during the spring school break.. head to Junkanoo beach (lighthouse beach) just outside of town. Go west past the british colonial hilton, around the bend to the beach. It's a 10 minute walk from the port.

You'll find party central - lots of breakers, volleyball, and other fun. Lots of events sponsored by Kalik (local beer) and Bacardi.

If you're not into the college crowd, you're out of luck.. They are everywhere. But the hotels at Cable beach would certainly be less rawkus.
