Sleep Inn Dania

Just returned from our Panama canal trip and want to give an update on the Sleep Inn and Suites.

Shuttle took awhile to arrive (had heard about this and called them twice). Still, it only took 1/2 hour.

Rooms (3) on second floor were clean. We did pull back the covers to check the sheets as soon as we arrived (see other posts for the reasons!)

There is a Walgreen's right next door and a shopping center across the street. 3 choices of restaurants in the center...Mexican, Chinese, and Italian. We took the Italian and it was mediocre. There's also a Dollar Tree store in the center and a large grocery store. The grocery store (Publix)carried wine and beer.

Breakfast was fine...juices, coffee, milk, cereals, make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy.

Check in and check out were easy. Well informed responses at the desk to all questions we asked.

Signed up for shuttle to the port at check-in. Shuttle on time.

I'd stay there again in a heart-beat for a one-day precruise.
