Scooter Rental and Tour

Well we've decided to rent a scooter in Aruba for the day and check out the island. Has anyone done this? I am checking with George's scooter rental and have emailed him for prices. Is it safe riding a scooter in Aruba. We plan on riding around the island.

Scooters are $ 40.- daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We are 5 minutes walking distance away.

Would you update us on how it went when you return? We rented ATV's last year in Santorini and I much prefer them over the Scooters we rented on another cruise. Wonder if ATV's are also available?

ATVs are available too all over the place in Aruba. I like the freedom of the scooters, and since Aruba is so flat we are going to give it a try.

 

We are leaving this Sat. We will be in Aruba on the 18th, we will also be posting a live thread so look there for a report on how it went. I will try and remember to post here when i get back, but tha is not until Feb 5th

VIckie - Thanks for the info, would love to hear how the scooter works out, we are in Aruba on the 3rd of March for about 6 hours.

I'm curious, how did the scooter rental work out for you? We're considering doing this while in Aruba... Was finding your way around managable?

 

I assume they are one passenger scooters... Are they newer models? Do you have any pictures?
