Lodger Posted December 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 25, 2007 We'll be on the 1/20/08 sailing to the Mexican Riviera and want to go sport fishing. The only port where Princess has an excursion is in Cabo. Is it a good excursion or are there suggestions for better sport fishing trips, either there or in the other ports (Mazatlan or Puerto Vallarta)? cjpj Posted December 25, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 25, 2007 My husband is opting for a private excursion for deep sea fishing in Mazatlan, but we don't sail until Jan 5. Recommended by Mazatlan Mike on the Mexican Riviera forum - good price (flat rate per boat) and close to pier. Easy to book and pay using paypal. If you want to check it out... http://www.kingfishfleet.com/

jschutz Posted December 30, 2007 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2007 Cabo is definitely the better fishing port - very little travel in getting to any of the many fishing grounds. Dollar wise.........don't know which port would be less expensive.
willysgrandma Posted December 30, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2007 Cabo is a GREAT fishing area! We have clients that go down every year for a week just to go sport fishing.
