bobby1119 Posted December 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 25, 2007 I received my final documents for QE2's January 6th crossing several weeks ago, including luggage tags, for my original Caronia C-1 stateroom. I was informed last week that I had been upgraded to a Princess Grill stateroom. Does anyone know how the luggage tags will work now that I am in a different cabin other than the one printed on the tags? Do new tags get reissued at the Southampton terminal? Looking forward to seeing 2007 world cruise veterans, as well as old cruisecritic friends and new ones on the crossing. Thanks, Bobby

Thanks, Bobby Because the tags have barcodes, they'll be scanned, and the bags will get to you. You won't get new tags. Don't cross out the barcode, but you might want to write the new cabin number on the tags, just in case. Kathy
cunardqueen Posted December 26, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 26, 2007 There is a desk right outside the checkin terminal with a guy and a whole whost of bag tags for just such an event, he will also tell you if you ask him if youve been upgraded ( l always waste time asking him:rolleyes: ) and he will be pleased to affix new bag tags on your luggage. Congratulatons on the upgrade Bobby !!!
tmcauban Posted December 26, 2007 #6 Share Posted December 26, 2007 We had the same problem last year, and we just did overwrite our new stateroom number on the tags we had. Our luggage came fine, as usual.
