mrspaper Posted December 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2007 if you are staying pre and post cruise, the best site i have found that i rely on faithfully is tripadvisor.com. it has never steered me wrong. tell me where your pre and post ports are, and i can tell you if i've been there and where i've stayed

Fat Tuesday Posted December 29, 2007 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2007 Have you ever stayed at a good hotel close to the port in Fort Lauderdale? Gotta stay there one night before the cruise.
cruzn4abruzn Posted December 30, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2007 My husband and I have been going crazy lately trying to find a decent, clean and friendly hotel on the beach in Miami. We are staying 2 nights pre-cruise from March 29-31, 2008. I don't think we want to stay in South Beach, that might be a bit too crazy for us (and price-wise too). We were looking to spend no more than $250 a night and were thinking of the Newport Beachside Resort. Not sure. Any advice? We would really appreciate it.
