flipflops vs skiboots Posted December 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2007 Has anyone used an independent tour operator in Nassau? We are looking for a city tour and possibly Atlantis stop.

TracersQQ Posted January 1, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2008 We bought a tour at the end of the pier. We all really enjoyed it. It was a city tour with stops at Ft. Fincastle, The Queens staircase - both stops had shopping - we drove through some residential areas and were shown the wealthy, middle class and poor neighborhoods. Our final stop was at Atlantis. Some people, on the tour, got dropped off, at the beach, after Atlantis - we chose to stay on the tour, since we only had an hour and a half before the ship sailed. We were shown some other points of interest, on the way back to port. We paid $28/peson, you could probably talk them down, but it was well worth the $28. Also, if you mention something that you really want to see, they will try to work it in, as long as it is within reason. The other family, that was on our tour, wanted to see Anna Nicole's house, so our driver took us there. So if you talk to your guide/driver, they can customize the tour, a little. I wanted to mention that we were shown many points of interest, I just mentioned the place that we actually stopped and got out of the van.
