DallasSteve Posted December 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2007 I am taking my 83-yr-old mother on her first cruise in March. We are stopping at Montego Bay, and although I've been to Jamaica several times on cruises, I don't remember the port area at all. She is limited in her walking, and most of the shore excursions are not to her ability. Does anyone know if there are shops at the port area where she could get off and do some souviner hunting, or will we need to take a taxi into town? Thanks for any responses given. DallasSteve As soon as you exit the ship you'll see shop with souvenirs, rum, rum cake, etc. I'm sure you'll be able to find whatever you might want there. As a plus, you won't have to deal with the high pressure sell that you find in some of the shops in MoBay.
