Dolphin Swim at Chankanaab Park

Just did the Royal Swim on 12/26. Absolutely amazing experience. Small groups with 2 dolphins in an enclosed space. The dolphins are very happy and seem to have a thought process of "fish, fish, fish, people, people, people, tricks, tricks, tricks". They were just out to please and have fun, generally seemed wonderful.

We got to do a foot push, dorsal tow, kiss, hug. All in all about 1 hr in the water with the dolphins. It was excellent.

If you book through Dolphin Discovery the price includes entrance into Chankanaab, which has excellent snorkeling (I didn't have time to partake). The park is beautiful with Mayan ruins and botanical gardens, plus palapas to sit under.

Excellent margaritas, too.
