Babygirl5408 Posted January 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2008 Hello, We are trying to plan our cruise and we would like somewhere that we can go before our actual dinner and enjoy some light appetizers. Can anyone recommend a free restaurant for this sort of activity and what appetizers would you recommend? Thank you so much for the responses! :)

big green Posted January 2, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2008 I agree--was on SUN for the Hawaii to Ensenada escape-- tapas were great-- was in a suite --apps were also good.:) We liked everything about the Sun and have booked her again for Sfran to Santiago cruise in November. Toyz711 Posted January 3, 2008 #6 Share Posted January 3, 2008 plus check out the menus: http://www.webshots.com/search?query=ncl+menus&new=1&source=chromeheader there are old menus, some of the choices have been changed (but some were exactly the same for my cruise 3 weeks ago). the 1st page is the more recent. the main dining rooms have appetizers...several choices of them. that's why dinner often last 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours..you have 4 courses to choice from. we usually do 3 courses, any more is just too much food. don't expect these menus to be served on the same day, they mix up the serving days on the different ships. all NCL ships served form the same menus. the specialities also serve 3 to 4 courses each meal. the specialities (surcharge or free) use the same menu every day. i have never found a menu for las ramblas. for the main dining rooms..you will find 3 or 4 choices of appetizers/salads/soups..you can have as many as you want. plus the 3 or 4 choices of main entrees..you are going to be so stuffed!!
