We did the Jeep & Snorkel tour in Cozumel, booked through NCL in Feb 2006. It was a wonderful day. The cars, at that time anyway, were in excellent condition. We took the roof off ours. We caravanned through town and out towards the beaches - there were about 10 jeeps in all in the tour. Did a little bit of off-roading (not much, though). The snorkeling was quite rigorous actually, swimming in the water a solid 45 minutes without much of a stop, but was quite fun and a lot to see. After that, we stopped by a lighthouse, then went back to town. It was a good day, the operators were very nice, and very funny.

This is the exursion we did, except that it was through Carnival. Out of the 10 cruise excursions my DH and I have done so far, this remains his favorite. YES, the snorkeling gives you quite a work out. But it is do-able, and the reef is nice. We were also served a very good authentic Mexican meal while at the light house, as part of the excursion. I recommend this one!
