stitchintime Posted January 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2008 I am hoping to snorkel at the Eden Beach resort in February. Can anyone provide me with information on the pier? Will be travelling with my parents, who both have bad knees, and feel the pier is the best way for them to get into the water to snorkel. Are there steps on the pier to get in and out of the water? I am afraid the drop off on the beach might be too much for them to get in and out of the water. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
jackdiamond Posted January 5, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2008 If you are referring to Eden Rock at Grand Cayman, then you will find that the snorkeling is excellent. However, there is no beach; hence, you will have to negotiate the steps in and out of the water. This is not too traumatic, but it is not for the timid. The good news is that it is free. Kaboochi Posted January 5, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2008 Hi, if you are referring to the beach on Grenada, check out the thread "San Juan and South", page 8" you will find the info and the site link you need there. Laurie
