dukemha Posted January 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2008 In the Casinos, do they have $1, $2 or $3 Roulette tables, or are they all $5? Do they raise the stakes of the tables over the course of the evening, or do the $1-$3 tables remain at that level? I'm assuming it doesn't change according to ship, but in case it does, I'm interested in the Jewel of the Seas. Thanks!

NewCruisr Posted January 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2008 I was on the Mariner a couple of weeks ago and played a little roulette. It's not normally my game but since the table was empty I thought I'd give it a try. When I played, the minimum bet was $1 on the inside and $2 (I believe) along the outside. I was in the casino at a prime time after both dinner seatings so I can't imagine the stakes were ever raised. I did play quite a bit of blackjack and other table games and those stakes were never raised. Hope this helps.
unc8689 Posted January 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2008 $1 minimum inside, $5 minimum outside was what I saw on Enchantment.
madforcruising Posted January 4, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2008 $1 minimum inside, $5 minimum outside was what I saw on Enchantment. That´s the way it was on all my RCCL trips.
DHADEN Posted January 4, 2008 #6 Share Posted January 4, 2008 $1 minimum inside, $5 minimum outside was what I saw on Enchantment. Are you sure that's right???? I ask because I really don't know, but thought it was different. If you are, that's good news to me. I thought it was a $5 minimum bet inside or out. You could bet $1 on the inside, but you had to make at least 5 of those bets to be at the minimum. Have I been wrong??
TEXASMUNK Posted January 4, 2008 #7 Share Posted January 4, 2008 $5 outside, $5 inside. The $5 inside can be 5 $1 bets. Stakes do not go up on Roulette. On occasion, when the table is slow or empty, they will let you play quarters inside and $1 outside. Have never seen the stakes raised on the Roulette Wheel. Wheel is a double zero wheel, which helps the house.

Have I been wrong?? It´s correct this is the official rule, however I´ve never seen it enforced that way and always seen people putting less than the 5 $1 bets on the inside without the dealer saying a word. I admit you can´t count on the fact they are acting this way all the time. So I partly stand corrected by my above post.
