sunflower62 Posted January 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2008 We are going on our first cruise next month and my brother, who has been to Jamaica many times, recommended that we go to Bamboo Beach Club. He said it is a really unique place with tons of food, drinks, dancing and exotic people, and it sounds perfect for our group. There are 40 of us and we want to go there and to Dunn's River Falls. However, I can't find it anywhere on RCCL's shore excursion list. Does anyone know how we can reserve this tour??
~Jo~ Posted January 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2008 You do the "Bamboo Beach Club" on your own. I think there is more than one of them but I'm sure there is one in Ocho Rios, I've looked it up, I may be going there in a few weeks. They will pick you up, you can combine a side trip to the Falls with your day at the Bamboo club. I think it's Bamboobeachclub.com ~Jo~
shipty2 Posted January 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2008 The Bamboo beach club is directly opposite to where the ship docks in Ocho Rios. You can easily see it from the ship. You can walk there (about 15 minutes) by leaving the port area and turning left. Or take a taxi. The taxi drivers sometimes pretend they do not know where it is to make you buy a long ride to another beach. Bamboo beach has a public area and a cruise ship passenger area. Cruise passengers pay one fee, about 30 dollars U.S. for the day which includes food and drinks
