Timing Of Disembarkation and Flight Home

Hello -

The cruise I may be taking lists the disembarkation time (in San Juan) as 8 AM. There is a flight at 11:30 AM to my hometown. Would I get off the ship in time to make the flight? BTW, I will ahve no luggate to check just a crryon. The next flight to book is not until about 4 PM, which I know would be safe, but does not get me home until about midnight.

Thanks

They always list debarkation as happening at a standard hour. Obviously everyone cannot get off the ship at the same time. That said however, they do ask on your debarkation form if you have flight arrangements and what time your flight leaves. I'd go for it. We've often booked flights out of Puerto Rico after a cruise leaving at 1 pm and then had to hang around the airport forever! One piece of advice I have would be to take a taxi from the cruise port directly to the airport. Don't bother with a bus. You'll be waiting till everyone is on board and all the luggage is stowed.
