I am confused? We will be on Conquest Jan 27th and Mo Bay is one of our stops. There is no excursion to purchase to Sunset Beach or Bamboo beach through our Carnival cruise line. SO how do you get your one day all you can eat drink passes? Are you from other ships that offer this? ;If so how can I get this, DH and I want to go to safe Beach for day eat drink and get a tan.

Just jump in a taxi and go. Sunset Beach is about 5 minutes away from the cruise dock. Buy your day pass at the gate and have fun.

We hardly ever book anything through the ship.

Sunset day pass 45.00 per adult and children 25.00 Is the beach as nice as Bamboo beaches. I think the plus is Sunsets pools.

Bamboo says 50.00 is there a price break for children?

Did Sunset Beach raise their prices? Last I knew the price was $40 for adults and $20 for children.

Hi, We just recently came back from a cruise on the Carnival Conquest and bought our Bamboo Beach Club & Dunn's River Falls tickets on board. Double check the Carnival website - I just looked and the tour is still being offered. We were in Sunset Beach a few years ago, and although it is a nice hotel, it does not compare with Bamboo Beach Club. The Beach Club is amazing - excellent food and drinks, friendly great service, and fun shows that really entertain you.

I am glad I found this post b/c I was just gonna ask about the Bamboo Beach Club. I saw it featured on the Travel Channels Jamiaca special.

We are looking for lots of fun things to keep us entertained while hanging out at the beach so I thought this looked like the place to be.

Funny thing is on the Bamboo Beach Club website the cost is $50 per adult for food, drinks and transportation.

We are sailing on the Carnivay Victory and it's also listed as a shore excursion, but for only $46 (doesn't say anything about transportation).

Can anyone tell me how they got to the Bamboo beach and what it cost them? How far is it from pier at Ochos Rios (sp)?

Joyful

When you walk off the ship in Ocho Rios, you walk to the end of the pier. Then a guide from the Bamboo meets and greets you. She takes your voucher and gives you a wristband. She then walks a small group of you 1/3 of the way over. At the next gate, a different guide continues with your group and then a few steps later a 3rd guide welcomes you into the area and shows you to your chairs. In all it is only a 5 minute walk away from the gates to the ship. When we walked back we were not escorted by anyone, but nobody bothered us, either.
