Super Shutle

Has anyone used the Super Shuttle from LGA to the pier of New York? Was is easy to use and how reliable was it. Did you make reservations?

No experience with them in NYC but I've used them numerous times in Seattle and they were always on time and dependable.

I'm wondering if Super Shuttle is any good. Hasn't anyone used them in NewYork? There has to be people that have gone on the NCL Dawn that needed to get to the pier from LGA.

I used them in NJ -- is that close enough?

 

They were OK. The van was clean & safe. The drivers were nice but not very experienced. They could find major things -- like the AP & the port (I assume) but not side roads. We had to help the driver get from my house to the next person's house & from there to the highway on the way to the AP. Also the dispatch seemed disorganized. They prefer full vans & will often make early passangers circle the AP w/ them until they can load on more passangers. Our flight was late; when we got in the van the woman already inside said they waited over 45 minutes for us & then we waited another 1/2 hour for another couple. I felt bad for the 1st girl b/c she was exhausted & just wanted to get to her hotel.
