any views on Best western in Fll

We need to find a hotel for April 14th the night before a cruise. Would like airport shuttle and breakfast included at a reasonable rate for the area. Has anyone used the Best Western?

Which one, the one off of A1A or SR84?

I second Bequia's recommendation. That is largely an industrial area with hotels sprinkled around. Not much in the way of decent restaurants or shops. Look at some of the other posts for Fort Lauderdale around 17th Street area which is right by the port, the Hampton Inn in Plantation, also try suburbs like Hollywood, Dania Beach.
