Cruise ship friendly hotel on 7 mile beach

Can anyone suggest a hotel along 7 mile beach that welcomes cruise passengers? What fee do they charge and what's included. We're looking for a place to just relax and let the kids play -- hopefully it won't be too crowded but there will be 8 other ships in port that day. The beach at Rum Point sounds exactly like what we're looking for, but it's a bit too far away and pricely to get to by taxi. Thanks!

There are surprisingly few hotels actually on the beach - The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, Grand Cayman Beach Suites (formerly Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman), The Westin, and Marriott Beach Resort. The rest are condos or private residences.

Courtyard by Marriott is across the road from the beach but has a restaurant on the beach side and rents out chairs. They welcome the public to rent a chair and buy a drink. That section of beach is usually relatively uncrowded.
