Fishingshoes Posted September 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2004 Hi...this may be a stupid question, but thought I'd ask the pro's. We are ending our cruise in Honolulu, HI and were thinking about renting a car on the last day to see the island on our own then drive ourselves to the airport and drop the car before we go home. On the night before the last day, can we just keep all our luggage and carry it off ourselves so we can just hop on the car rental shuttle bus and take it with us or do we have to leave our checked luggage in the hall like normal and collect it later??? IBEEMOM Posted September 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2004 If you are cruising with Carnival, you will find that there is a new policy for guests to take their luggage when debarking. Just do not put it out in the hall the night before. I think that starting at 7:30 am you can start leaving. Be aware that there will be quite a lot of others also leaving and there may be a long line. Once the line starts it will move very quickly. tef43 Posted September 13, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2004 Being that this is not a normal weekly recurring itinerary, it is not known whether self-assist express debarkation is available for Honolulu. They will announce in the Capers if it is, and the procedures that you must follow to take advantage of it.
