digginthedirt Posted January 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2008 I'm wondering if anyone knows how to upgrade our cabin. We are on COSTA Fortuna March 2008. We are totally paid and have a balcony but, my husband said he'd really like a suite. I called the TA and she said there are none available. Does anyone know how we could go ablout upgrading--we'll pay if we need to?:) Has any one done this? Any info. would help--this is our 1st cruise. Thank you
lvtotrvl1 Posted January 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2008 If they are not available, there would be no way to do it. Not sure what you are asking? . You could keep checking to see if there are any cancellations, but that's about it.
digginthedirt Posted January 15, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted January 15, 2008 I'm sorry if I'm being confusing. I thought there maybe a better way to get a suite than just asking the TA since I've never done this before. Should we wait till closer to the sailing date or wait til we actually get on the ship? Thank you

March is very busy cruising, so it may be difficult to upgrade. I would recommend checking every day..by the time you get to the pier there are usually no upgrades available. Daybreak Posted January 16, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2008 Have your TA waitlist the suite with Costa.March is spring Break and the ships will have more that usual number of children.
BooBooMonkey Posted January 16, 2008 #6 Share Posted January 16, 2008 I just looked online and suites 7249, 7243, and 7238 are available. These are full-size suites, not mini-suites. They are on Caracas Deck forward. There are no mini-suites available right now.
